You should test your system at least once a month. Also, any time you have a trade’s person in, do a test after they leave. |

It is up to you, but we think you should, it will help the monitoring station react appropriately. |

Last night my alarm went off, the monitoring station did not receive any signals and my memory light was not on. Is there a problem with my system? |

No, your system did exactly what it was supposed to do. More than likely you had a momentary telephone line problem and the telephone line monitor activated the siren. But, just to be on the safe side, you should do a test to the monitoring station just to make sure. |

No, we are a completely independent alarm company. This gives us the flexibility to buy and install the best products on the market. Not every manufacturer makes the best of everything; this is why we use many different products from different sources. |

Do you monitor your accounts in an Answering Service? |

No, our monitoring station is an independent U.L.C. (Underwriter’s Laboratories of Canada Listed) monitoring station. |

Do you use subcontractors to do your alarm installations? |

No, only our own highly trained staff install & service our systems. However, we do have close working relationships with other trades such as locksmiths, etc, that help us out when their expertise is required. |

Are you a member of CANASA (Canadian Security Association)? |

Yes we are long-time members and have been members of the board in the past. In addition Tom is a Canasa certified installer. |
